The cohort
In August, Algorizz ran “AI Powered Business Processes” for a cohort joining from Montserrat, Nevis, Bermuda and Suriname. Over four days and 16 hours, every participant worked on one real process from their own department.
Participating organisations included Bank of Montserrat Ltd., The Bank of Nevis Limited, Bermuda Waterworks Limited and Fernandes Group.
Why it worked
No one learned about AI in the abstract. Every organisation has things that slow work down: approvals delayed with little visibility, paper trails, hand-built reports and scattered data, some digitised and some not. Rather than theorising, the four days focused on looking at those processes afresh[2] and working out a practical approach to fixing them.

Process first, AI second
The programme follows a simple order: process first, AI second[1].
“Digitising a broken process only makes the broken process faster.
Applying AI for its own sake, the team argues, does not work.
Before the build
Most of Algorizz’s time goes into building and delivering AI systems. Bootcamps like this come before that work, and they matter: organisations get far more from AI once their people can see how work actually moves through the business[3].
Algorizz reports growing interest from firms that want to see how AI can change the way their functions work, and is planning further cohorts. Organisations interested in running the bootcamp for their teams can get in touch[4].
